Giants' Collin Johnson on the Mend from Achilles Tear

Wide Receiver Expected to Return for 2023 Season

Johnson Has Been Running on Turf and Is Excited to Get Back on the Field

New York Giants wide receiver Collin Johnson is on the mend from a torn Achilles that he suffered in training camp. The 26-year-old is running on turf and is excited to return for the 2023 season.

"I'm feeling good," Johnson said. "I'm running on turf now and I'm getting stronger every day. I'm excited to get back on the field with my teammates and start contributing." Johnson was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played in 14 games for the Bears in 2020, catching 18 passes for 214 yards. He was traded to the Giants in March of 2022.

The Giants are hoping that Johnson can be a big contributor to their offense in 2023. He is a big, physical receiver with good hands and a strong work ethic. He is also a good blocker, which will help the Giants' running game.

Johnson is expected to be ready for the start of the 2023 season. He will be a welcome addition to the Giants' offense, which is looking to rebound from a disappointing 2022 season.
