With the Personal Hotspot feature on your iPhone, you can quickly and easily share your cellular data connection with other devices, providing them with Wi-Fi access even when no other network is available. This versatile feature comes in handy in various situations and is especially useful when traveling or working remotely.
How to Set Up a Personal Hotspot
On Your iPhone:
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot.
- Toggle the slider to the "On" position.
Your iPhone will now broadcast a Wi-Fi network with default settings. To connect other devices:
- On the connecting device:
- Go to Wi-Fi settings and look for your iPhone's network name.
- Enter the password displayed on your iPhone's Personal Hotspot screen.
Connecting Via Other Methods
In addition to Wi-Fi, devices can also connect to the iPhone's Personal Hotspot via:
- USB: Connect the device to the iPhone using a USB cable.
- Bluetooth: Pair the device with your iPhone via Bluetooth.
Note: Data usage charges may apply when using Personal Hotspot.
