The Oilers took control of the game in the second period, scoring three goals to erase a 1-0 deficit. Winger Warren Foegele notched two of those goals, while Connor McDavid and Evander Kane added one each. McDavid and Kane extended their dominance in the third period, scoring two more goals to seal the Oilers' victory. Corey Perry and Mattias Ekholm also contributed goals to the Oilers' offensive explosion. Stuart Skinner was a force in net for Edmonton, stopping 32 of 34 shots and earning the first star of the game. The victory ended a two-game losing streak for the Oilers and improved their record to 46-24-5. They have now won nine of their last 10 games.
